We were duped! We elected a Republican to the White House! He let Lieberman off the hook! He might appoint Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. He will put Sarah Palin the Cabinet! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling! The sky is falling!
Does this seem silly to anybody else? This is what was going on today on Daily Kos all day. Look I was all for kicking Joe Lieberman to the curb; it would have brought me great joy. But President-elect and Obama and the Democrats in the Senate feel it would be best to keep him around. Maybe it is a keep your enemies closer thing, I trust the judgment of our new President. I kind of think some people on this site love news like this because they love to complain. Yes you have a right o complain but just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something. The whole thing about Obama offering Palin a cabinet spot is the silliest thing I have heard in a while.
Just because ONE decision was made today does not mean we will not see change. There is a BIG difference between Democrats and Republicans even if some of you refuse to acknowledge it. I knew this would happen, as soon as Obama got elected people would realized he is not the left politician they want but rather a center-left guy. For me it works out well, it is exactly the kind of politician I want. But I realize many of you guys are upset. I know I'm going to get yelled at for this but I come to accept it, while we are all Democrats I tend to be in the minority around here at times. I'm no Evan Bayh. but I'm no Dennis Kucinich either. I am a Barack Obama Democrat. This isn't a GBCW diary. I'll still be around. That is all.
