Politico can be a source of annoyance, or, if you are of a better temper than me, humor. Many of us saw their no-irony complaint about Kennedy and Clinton "dynasties" while Bush sits at 1600 Pennsylvania to be a bit too much today.
But, honestly, I think they have a point about the endless stream of e-mails from the Obama campaign. At first, this kind of complaint seems like just another way to take shots at Obama for no good reason, like Dem CoulterKirsten Power's recent claim that it was Obama's failure to mismanage the media that is letting the media find hallucinatory connections between him and Blago. But it really is getting annoying now.
I get e-mail from the campaign with the donate button. I get e-mail from John Podesta telling me to do this and that. I get stuff that for some reason during the campaign sounded good, but now seems annoying. I dunno. Maybe it's some kind of postpartum depression I'm having. As happy as I was on election night a combination of dirty right wing tricks has bummed me out substantially since then. Which I guess should keep me energized, but instead, has just made me feel like ignoring things.
