We are all enjoying the last day of the Bush (Fraudulent) Presidency and wondering what else we can do to celebrate.
Unfortunately, I will not be among the happy millions thronging the capital of our nation to salute our new nation and to welcome our new leader.
I will be watching here in Dallas. I wish W were coming here tomorrow so I could salute him.
But I did have a good idea, I think, for those of you lucky enough to be in DC.
When Obama is officially sworn in, take off ONE SHOE AND THROW IT IN THE AIR.
You know that wonderful tradition at the service academies of the graduating class throwing their hats in the air?
Imagine Charlie Gibson, Brian Williams, Katie Couric gazing across a crowd of millions and having to explain why thousands of them just threw one shoe in the air.
No one can arrest you for it. It's not a threat to the outgoing President. It's a statement of JOY + GOOD RIDDANCE.
If you think this is a good idea, PLEASE REC this diary and tell all your friends headed for D.C. Let's take this baby viral.
