President Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and some lucky guests got to hear Stevie Wonder last night at the White House. The Obamas were awarding him the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. You can see the performance tonight at 8 p.m. ET on PBS.
According to a pool report from the event, Michelle Obama said the first album she ever bought was Talking Book. She said she and her husband had chosen Wonder's song You and I as their wedding song. The president said Wonder's songs were "the soundtrack of my youth."
