Where's Waldo Eric Cantor?
h/t to The Richmond Democrat
Check out this hidden gem of a blog, that keeps the cleansing rays of sunlight focused on this GOP leader character.
Where's Eric Cantor?
Congressional Republican spokeman, Rep. Eric "Whip it Good" Cantor (R-VA) is a problem-unit. Rather than building consensus, he's a neocon mouthpiece. He seems to only obfuscate important issues, further sowing seeds of national discord. An embarrassment to the good folks of Virginia.
Where's Eric Cantor goes beyond chronicling the silliness of The Whip, tracking the real story behind the story, following the Cantor money trail. It should be no surprise that Cantor is in thick with the deep pocket of Wall Street, which makes it all the more aggravating to see him try and pass himself off as a man of the people.
The big bucks corporate lobbyist own him. He's so professional he'll do anything for money. Reminds me of the old quote by Winston Churchill about prostitution, "My dear (Eric), we already know what you are, now we are just negotiating the price."
Where's Eric Cantor on Cantor's pal-ing around with neocon-insurgent-traitor, Rep. Michele Bachmann:
As an update to the previous post about Eric Cantor holding a fundraiser for unhinged crazy person Michele Bachmann, the representative from Minnesota who seems to have committed treason by calling for an armed revolution in America, I also found this little morsel.
Cantor’s political action committee, EricPAC, has given Michele Bachmann $15,000 over the last two campaign cycles, $10,000 in 2006 and $5,000 last year.
So he supports her with his presence, and he supports her with his wallet. Does he support her sedition?
Overthrow the government, has the line between free speech and treason been crossed? See for yourself US Code Title 18 § 2385
We've said it before, he is a bit of a caricature. Still reminds me of a hapless villain from a James Bond movie or a sleazy corporate lawyer. The GOP could do better.
