People are going out and he said, people who are liberals and conservatives, people are just going out and buying guns because they are afraid that Barack Obama is going to get in and if you are not -- if you don't have a gun and you are not grandfathered in, you ain't getting one.
Who's -- or how much worse is Barack Obama than Hillary Clinton? Because I know the Clintons, you know, the computers were down every time you tried to go get a gun licensed all through the Nineties. You would have a heck of a time getting anything done because, oh, the government computers were down. But they were mysteriously fixed on inauguration day in 2000.

Do you believe that people should be purchasing guns? I mean, there's a run on guns now. Trying to buy guns or ammunition in this country at least in certain parts of the country, I mean, damn near impossible. I mean, there's a run on guns.
Joe Biden and Barack Obama are really the kind of guys that only want revolvers available. You won't be able to buy a semiautomatic gun. I mean anything but a revolver.

GLENN: They gave me the Charlton Heston rifle, the cold dead hands, that thing.
STU: Really?
GLENN: Yeah. It's beautiful, absolutely beautiful. They took it away from me right away. They let me hold it for, like, five minutes. And they're like, we'll box it and ship it to you. And I'm like, but I haven't even seen it. We'll box it and ship it to you.
STU: Can it take someone's throat out at 1600 yards?
GLENN: No, no. I didn't know what to say when they handed -- because they played because they did this big tribute to Charlton Heston, you know, and at the end with his, you know, you take it out of my cold, dead hands. And then, you know, they give it -- you know, "Here." And I'm like -- all I could think of is, "They didn't take it out of his cold, dead hands, did they? I mean, that's not --" I didn't ask but I'm pretty sure they didn't.

I tell you that I have spoken to some very powerful senators in Washington. One of them was, quite honestly when he said it to me, he said it to me off the record. I said, "I don't want to hear this kind of stuff from you." He said, "Glenn, I'm telling you that the way our country is set up right now and the way we're headed, all we have to have is another Katrina-like event but having to do with, you know, Muslim extremists or something like that and the government will crack down and they will try to confiscate the guns and they will say, we have to do it, we have to -- and he said, we will lose rights, one right after another. And there are a lot of people that are very afraid that, you know, what was said that would never, ever happen in America happened already. What's to stop them from doing it again?

First of all, we're going to show the videotape on television tonight of the grandmother that was wrestled to the ground and they took her gun. Was there anyone that you know of, governor, that said -- because this is what everybody says: A, the police will never go and take the guns away. Well, they just did. And the other thing is, out of my gold dead hands, you'll have to pry it out of my cold -- was there anyone that said, absolutely not; this is a violation of the Constitution; I am not relinquishing my guns?

Really? OK. So, Wayne, the Second Amendment is under fire in a couple of things. We knew that they were going to try to bring the assault weapon ban back. But now, they're blaming it on Mexico and they're saying that the United States — all these assault weapons are just going right across the border, that are being sold here.
Glen Beck -
So you know, here is the thing, Chuck. You know, the government doesn't want us to have weapons and yet, they have weapons. I think the biggest weapon they have is the IRS. Nobody even understands. I just — I read a letter from ...

Glenn Beck-
Gun-control activists have renewed calls for the federal government to reinstate a ban on so-called assault weapons in the wake of Tuesday’s deadly shooting rampage in Alabama.
Stricter national gun-control laws face dim prospects in Washington, however, despite Democratic control of Congress and the White House.
Gun sales have soared in the months since the presidential election, due in part to fears among gun owners that President Barack Obama intends to ban assault weapons, or guns that can fire rounds more quickly than standard weapons.

I mean, I think these guys -- these guys, they'll take away guns, they'll take away our sovereignty, they'll take away our, our, our currency, our money! They're already starting to put all the global framework in with this bullcrap called global warming! This is an effort to globalize and tie together everybody on the planet, is it not?
Sean Hannity -
It only took one month before the Obama administration revealed its plans to go after gun owners.

"It seems that people, and politically speaking on the left, have this misconception about weapons being something dangerous. They're only dangerous in the hands of a criminal."
G. Gordon Liddy -
Well, if the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms comes to disarm you and they are bearing arms, resist them with arms. Go for a head shot; they're going to be wearing bulletproof vests.
"The first thing you do is, no matter what law they pass, do not -- repeat, not -- ever register any of your firearms." Liddy added: "Because that's where they get the list of where to go first to confiscate. So, you don't ever register a firearm, anywhere."
Ursula from Millerton, Pa., tells Liddy she's afraid the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is coming after her gun-owning friend. Liddy calls the bureau "bottom-dwelling slugs ... a pack of nitwits out to make war on those Americans who take seriously the Second Amendment." Liddy allows that calls to "hunt down and kill" such agents is "going too far." But, he says, "shooting back is reasonable... . I have counseled shooting them in the head."
Michael Savage -
"I am telling you as an american it's time for you to get armed. I don't really care what your background is, I don't care if you're right or left, black or white... only an armed nation will survive what's coming in this country. There was a time in Germany, before Hitler, when the Germans were allowed to have weapons. But then Hitler came along and one of his first laws was the seizure of all weapons from the German people, precisely to prevent an uprising against his breed of government. ...
Richard "Pop" Poplawski -
Mr. Perkovic and other former classmates said they were surprised by this morning's events. Mr. Perkovic said Mr. Poplawski was opposed to "Zionist propaganda" and was fearful that his right to own weapons would be taken away but he wasn't a member of an organized group or militia.
"He always said that if someone tried to take his weapons away he would do what his forefathers told him to do and defend himself."
Another friend, Aaron Vire, 23, said he'd helped Mr. Poplawski and Mr. Perkovic with a radio show they'd broadcast on the Internet, discussing "politics, girls and life."
Mr. Poplawski had supported Republican candidate John McCain in the presidential election and had "very spirited debates" about Democratic candidate Barack Obama, Mr. Vire said. Mr. Poplawski was opposed to Mr. Obama's election, which he thought would result in the loss of his rights, Mr. Vire said.
"He wasn't a racist but thought some of his amendments were overlooked," Mr. Vire said. Even though Mr. Vire is black and Mr. Poplawski is white, the debates over President Obama did not hurt their friendship, he said.
Mr. Poplawski told him he bought his guns "because he felt the quality of life was being diminished," Mr. Vire said.
"He said he'll be ready if there's ever an invasion of the United States and that he had stockpiled foods and guns for that eventuality."
