Maybe this has already been diaried. If so, apologies. But this might be one of those things than can't be diaried enough.
President Obama: "Nothing will be gained by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past."

President Obama's words open up whole new vistas, it seems to me. If "Nothing will be gained by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past", that should empty all the court dockets and thus save quite a bit of money. Further, letting bygones be bygones implies that inmates in jails and prisons across the US can be set free. That would save a lot more money. Or is that stretching the point too far?
I don't know. It just feels like a wilderness right now. I'm relieved that KO still has his moral compass intact, but, what happened to Obama's? Is there even a point to saving the nation if it's already been sold down the river? Don't know. More questions, many more questions, than answers right now. Can't give up. Can't give in. But, What. The. Fuck. Is. The. Point. Now?
Apologies for a brief diary. After this, I just don't know what else there is to say or be said. Well, except maybe to echo KO: "Mr. President, you are wrong." If it matters at all.
