Markos, the world is watching. The blogosphere and the new world of Twitter is watching, IT's time to turn this site green! It's that we show our solidarity with the people of Iran who are struggling to break the yolk of religious/fascist thugs who want to continue to oppress women, execute gays, squash political dissent and generate instability throughout the Middle East. Andrew Sullivan on the center-left and http://pajamasmedia.com/... of the center/left and right ends of the blogosphere have already made the change. Since 2002, you made Burnt Orange symbolic of crashing the gate. Today green is the official color of the first revolution to be carried out in person AND over the internet.
I submit my name as the first to petition the site administrators to change the color of this site to green starting tomorrow, the day of the Iranian general strike until such time as they deem sufficient to turn it back. Hopefully, if and when the "election" results have been voided and a new election is called with international monitors.
