Today I'm bringing you a exclusive interview with ProtesterHelp who was attacked yesterday. First pictures.
The protests do not end!
The question remains, Where are their votes?
"I am not afraid to die for freedom; I am afraid to die without getting it for my daughter."
It has come to my attention that the following story is probably not true. It is possible that some of these events may have happened but the story was embellished. While it is true that Protesterhelp is a college student, and claims to have been attacked. Recently he has been spreading faulty information, and the proxies he have received, a great number of them mind you, have gone without using. Pointing to all evidence that he in some way a fraud.
*Attack in Ohio*
Our top story is the attack on ProtesterHelp. For those who do not know him he has been essential in providing security for Twitterers in Iran, setting up private networks to provide secure proxies to them, calling for media networks to remove the Iranians Twiterers information from their broadcast, and providing counter-intelligence services (including Basiji and Army Locations) within the Twitter community.
I interviewed ProtesterHelp earlier today, following the following group of Tweets from him.
Leaving for college now. Not sure if I'll be permitted to tweet from class. If not, will write full summary of events between classes.
Am safe, hidden away. Will continue to post reports from Iran, no more info about me.
Details: was attacked by single vehicle throwing rocks while walking. Am safe now, though not in contact with anyone in Iran.
@recordedbooks No, I live in America.
I'm fine, filed police report (though they seemed uninterested) Huffington Post will be posting more details at some point.
ProtesterHelp confirmed to me that he was attacked by a group of men that seemed to be either Iranian or Lebanese, while walking to class in Ohio. They drove up besides him and threw rocks at him while shouting, "Mousavi Fraud."
He further informed me that his personal information was leaked, and is currently being spread both online and inside of Iran amongst the government. The former most likely lead to this attack. God only knows what the latter will lead too.
I think this is a strong indicator of how international in scope these events are. A American on American soil has already been attacked due to these protests in Iran.
.
*Moving on.*
Today was the BIG soccer game; the Iranian National Team made up mostly Iranians who play or immigrated to Germany, played against South Korea, and tied, which means no World Cup for Iran.
Nonetheless two of the brave players, Karimi (considered as the BEST Iranian player and often called the "Asian Maradona) & Mahdavikia dared to wear green bracelets in solidarity with their brothers and sister in Iran.
Despite this more and more Journalists are arrested as a crackdown on nearly all the press in Iran continues.
Meanwhile a glimmer of hope emerged as the University Test's scheduled for this week were delayed.
.
*Home Response*
The Neocon's have used this information in a attempt to discredit Obama. With Danielle Pletka stating that
"Five days later, the uprising is little more than a symbolic protest, crushed by the elite Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps,"
And the Republicans compare themselves with the protesters.
Via Pete Hoekstra
Iranian twitter activity similar to what we did in House last year when Republicans were shut down in the House.
And John Culberson
Good to see Iranian people move mountains w social media, shining sunlight on their repressive govt - Texans support their bid for freedom
Oppressed minorities includeHouseRepubs: We are using social media to expose repression such as last night's D clampdown shutting off amends

*Today's Protests and the "Recount"*
Nonetheless the Iranian people have continued protesting, shouting their lovely slogans such as Allaho Ackbar, and Shhhh. A good and long explanation of the slogans can be found here.
While Ahmad supporters have also spread to the streets, all the evidence points to photoshopping in the case of one photo of their group.
While the "Recount" goes on, it remains closed. A Interior Ministry Official admitted that they will never make the details of the recount available.
Meanwhile turnout rates of over 100% have been reportedin at least 30 different cities of Iran.
Go to hell dictator.
I'll be here all night.
