.
are going on in the world besides Michael Jackson's untimely death. I suppose I should have expected this wall-to-wall coverage, but, sheesh, that doesn't mean I have to like it.
I've got some writing to do. I've got some reading to do. Need to walk the doggie. A few emails to send out, etc. So it's not like I have nothing else to do but catch up on what's going on with Iran, Obama's meeting with Merkel, Sanford, North Korea, the Energy Bill, Health Care Reform, and the like, but sheesh! The pack mentality of of the media even extends to my favorite, non-stupid news shows and hosts. How disappointing.
Disclosure: I wept when Jerry Garcia died and got mighty choked up when Johnny did. Whenever Bob goes I'll probably just shut down for a couple of days. I'm very sorry (really) that Michael didn't make it til old age but I was never a fan. But looks like no meaningful (t.v.) political news til sometime next week. Oh, well, like I said, it's not like I've got nothing else to do.
UPDATE: Just for good measure. Heh.
