It appears Conyers decided to have the hearing today under everyone else's noses. It is involved in the U.S. Attorney Firing Scandal.
Rove Deposed by House Judiciary Committee
Conyers, deposed Rove from 10 a.m. this morning to 6:30 p.m. tonight. However, Conyers isn't talking about anything that was asked or what the next steps might be.
Conyers would not comment on what Rove told congressional investigators, what the next step in the long-running Judiciary Committee investigation would be or whether Rove would face additional questioning.
"He was deposed today," Conyers said in an interview. "That’s all I can tell you."
Will update when more information is released. I just thought it was prudent to get the information out there.

The agreement establishing these interviews contemplated that they would be confidential until they were all completed and we intend to respect that term by not commenting in any way.’’
Apparently, Rove's attorney would not confirm or deny the whole situation, but NY Times, states that Rove was Interviewed not Deposed
