I tried to get information on the Home Affordable Refinance option, and have been having trouble with Wells Fargo. Anyone have this issue?
It seems strange that homes with PMI wouldn't be covered under the program - those are the ones where people could probably use the help the most, as they owe more than 80% of their loan amount. I couldn't find anything on http://www.makinghomeaffordable.gov about this either....

Dear MichiganBlue:
Thank you for considering Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for your new financing needs.
Currently, loans that carry Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) are ineligible for the Making Home Affordable Program. However, we will be offering this program for individuals who have PMI after August 24, 2009. You may contact us again at that point at 1-866-223-6579 to discuss your possible eligibility.
Sincerely,
