We know Georgia is a pretty conservative state, but Barack Obama got 47% of the vote in November. We can do better than this. Call Senator Isakson's office and let him know that you support health care reform,

Last year, we made real progress in Georgia. We knocked on doors, registered voters, made phone calls, volunteered our time and gave money to help our president get elected. We can't allow our elected officials to vote on this bill without our voices being heard. They may not vote they way we want them to, they may never admit it when the calls start coming in ten to one for health care reform, but they'll know.
We knew after election day that our work was just starting. We have to put in a herculean effort in order to get our voices heard amoung the many voices they already agree with. Call them. Call any friends who you know agree with you, and urge them to call too. Use your email lists of contacts from the election and urge them to contact them too. Write a letter to the editor. Contact your congress person. If you aren't sure who it is, look here:

I think we'll get a health care reform bill this year. It won't be my first choice for a solution, but we can make it better if we are willing to go to the mat for it.
It shouldn't be that hard for us to come up with 10,000 people to call. There were more than that number who worked on the campaign. We can't let inaction stop us from gaining what we worked so hard for last year.
