I hope that everyone understands that I am directing your attention to a sequence of photographs and not a single photograph. It is very important to avoid thinking in a one-dimensional manner because Nature is much more complicated and varied than the human manner of thinking.
I've spent the last several days engaged in a conversation with the atheists and can assure the atheists than I am listening and learning from their responses. Since atheism is an intellectually vacant idea without either positive or negative attributes engaging in arguments with atheists cannot help but degenerate into nothing more than a dog chasing its own tail or waiting in the dark in the hope of finding a ghost.
So I will tell you what I have concluded from our discussion so far ...
- Atheism is exclusively the denial of God's existence, nothing more or less.
- Since atheists regard God as an nonexistent being to begin with that means that for atheists atheism is nothing more than denying the existence of a nonexistent being.
- Given that atheism is a denial and therefore need not amount to anything more than an opinion there is no reason to seek for rational arguments on behalf of atheism. Such arguments might or might not exist but they are irrelevant.
- Atheism is amoral. How is it at all possible to derive any moral principles from the denial of God's existence? It isn't at all possible. Therefore atheism is amoral.
- Although atheism is amoral the atheists possess morality to whatever degree they have borrowed it from some other source. The actual source of an atheist's morality is irrelevant.
- Given atheism's amorality it is quite easy to understand how Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris and Bill Maher could promote prejudice and bigotry against the Muslims.
- Given atheism's amorality it cannot prevent atheists from committing the crimes which atheists routinely attribute to theism.
- In other words: Atheism cannot solve any of humankind's problems.
- Therefore: Humankind's long history of perpetual violence and warfare would not come to an end even if all of humankind became atheists.
- Since atheism is an intellectually vacant idea which cannot solve any of humankind's problems it is quite reasonable to conclude that atheism has failed.

Perhaps the atheists here disagree. If the atheists want to identify those problems which atheism can solve and exactly how atheism might solve those problems, I invite them to do so.
I want to hear a happy message from the atheists. What can atheism do for humankind?
