President Obama outlined a great health care reform plan last night. But there was one big problem. It did not have a name.
Without a simple, easy-to-remember name for the plan, people will not envision anything. In the past we’ve seen memorable names like the Clean Water Act and No Child Left Behind. Let’s help Obama out, and suggest some strong names for his health care plan/bill.
…But be careful, the right loves to criticize and lampoon names of things which can sound similar to other, less noble things. So it’s best to come up with a name for the bill without any vowels in the first letters of each word. And it should be short.
Here’s my suggestion to get us going: The Fair Service Health Plan. It would be abbreviated as FSHP, which, happily, can’t be pronounced due to an absence of vowels. (It could be pronounced “Fa-Ship,” but that’s a stretch.) If Fox News can’t pronounce its abbreviation, it’ll have to utter its actual name. Cool, huh?
Okay, what’s YOUR idea?
Is a great name for Obama’s health care plan necessary?
