Dear clever minds of MoveOn.org, would be Health Care Reform commercial makers and Billionaires for Wealthcare,
It has occurred to me what a great (MSM)Television commercial for Health Care Reform, the Billionaires for Wealthcare would be. I think a collaboration would be brilliant.
I was watching the Billionaires for Wealthcare on the Youtubes. I watched them make their way through the crowds of people who would protest against their own best interest. I saw some of these people's faces. It seems to me there were some light bulbs going off. It seems to me some of these people were distracted enough to understand that they were being made fun of and better yet, WHY they were being made fun of.
I am not affiliated with The Billionaires for Wealthcare (yet). But, I tell you, they have offered up the most marketable and succinct message we have seen in this (cough) debate.
A MSM commercial would be very effective.
I envision them dressed in their finest attire thanking the people who are protesting on behalf of the Insurance industry. They could thank Senators by name. They could thank those Senators who are uniting against the American people to help protect the unfair business practices and profits of the Insurance Industry.
I just think the Billionaires for Wealthcare have got the right message and are delivering it in a way that inspires thought.
I really think this is an effective path.
It works for Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey. Humor that makes you think.
