I saw Michael Moore's new documentary "Capitalism: A Love Story" today. It was a riveting film that made me laugh and cry, as all of Moore's movies do.
But the strongest emotion I felt throughout the course of the movie was one of anger. This was Moore's goal. His film ended with a call to action, to assist him in righting the clear and present wrongs in America's economic and political systems. My question is WHAT should I do to aid him in his righteous cause?
My life circumstances, like many others, prevent me from taking the radical action that is needed to reform the revolving lobbyist-politician door in Washington. I can't quit my job to camp out by the Capitol or the NYSE. Hell, given my status as a temp worker, I have no vacation days or even health insurance!!
Michael Moore has given us the justification for action but WHAT should we do now? I do not want to let the emotions I felt fade into oblivion and return to the drudgery of my daily life routine while the big banks are not held accountable for their actions.
Help me out fellow Kossacks.
