I saw this at HuffPost.
"The reality of it is that Fox News often operates almost as either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party. And it is not ideological... what I think is fair to say about Fox, and the way we view it, is that it is more of a wing of the Republican Party."
I guess the White House is setting up a war room and picking a fight with FOX news. This was a call to arms IMO. The administration has called this network out and you better believe as they go forward the MSM collectively will be waiting to make them trip and fall.
You could see it in the interview, where Kurtz says maybe they're not used to hard coverage since the MSM anointed the Obama campaign. This meme has already become fact in the village and it's what they say to make themselves feel better for falling down on the job. Kurtz also tries to say, hey the MSM blew the whistle on the death panels. This is after he wrote how ineffective this coverage was since the MSM began by covering this as a controversy; and Dunn calls him out for not knowing the guy who delivered the response to the President's health care address was a death panel dude.
It seems the White House learned a lesson from this summer; the MSM is looking for a story not to educate. The teabaggers worked the refs and with no facts; skewed the coverage of the health care debate. And a lot of that was through Fox, joining with the teabaggers and promoting this movement.
And no one in the MSM called out FOX for promoting the teabaggers. So, obviously, the WH has chosen to change direction and fight back.
Here's the contact info for the White House, show Anita Dunn some love and support.
