I went with my son today to the movie opening of Fantastic Mr. Fox based on the Roald Dahl story. During the commercials and trailers, a promotional clip was shown for Glenn Beck's The Christmas Sweater, an upcoming live show to be simulcast in movie theaters. I am happy to report that Beck's presence on the screen was unwelcome to the New York audience and elicited boos and hisses throughout the theater.
Furthermore, I doubt that Glen Beck would approve of the rather subversive Mr. Fox--no relation to the Fox News network-- who gets the better of Boggis, Bunce, and Bean, the evil farmers who, in the movie, morph into a supermarket corporation.
Boggis and Bunce and Bean
One fat, one short, one lean
These horrible crooks
So different in looks
Were none the less equally mean
And none more odious than Glenn Beck.
