Just wondering if anyone knows a response to this:
- The healthcare bills that are under consideration all contain language that everyone must have health insurance coverage.
- If healthcare coverage is not obtained a fine may be levied by the U.S. govt.
So here come my questions:
- Without a PO or an expansion of free healthcare coverage, would there be a penalty for someone too poor to receive coverage?
- If someone is too poor to get coverage, and too poor to pay a fine would they then be subject to incarceration?
Any input is appreciated. This thought just occurred to me while sitting a talking with my wife.
Thanks.
