Welcome pootie and woozle lovers!
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and - in addition to the usual things I am thankful for at this time of year such as my job, a roof over my head, my family and friends, and my four-legged housemates - this year, I am thankful to khloemi and triciawyse for allowing me to host the Humpday edition of the pootie diaries for the past 4 weeks. I have really enjoyed hosting these diaries even though it has at times been a tiny bit stressful keeping up with all the comments. Normally, my own (non-pootie) diaries do not get read - so, I never have to worry about responding to any comments in those. But I have really enjoyed the challenge of the pootie diaries - it's been a fun and exhilarating experience.
Yes, I know that the autumnal equinox was in September, but for me one of the symbols of this time of year, in addition to the horn o'plenty and the turkey, has always been the big harvest moon. (Maybe because it was one of those things that was so easy to draw when I was in grade school.)
Hope you enjoy the moon shots.

For your listening pleasure, some of Neil Young's Harvest Moon. Like a lot of his songs, it is a sweet, melancholy tune. It has always been one of my favorites.
