While I appreciate calls for an active, motivated 'base' it's only fair to note that it requires ACTUALLY doing something to motivate that base.
Clinton triangulation won't work as wells as like keeping your promises or FIGHTING for them. Softly murmuring that you'd like the public option is NOT nearly like fighting for it.
Not a single DINO has even a hangnail. They got bribes instead. Traitor Joe keeps his perks! That's capitulating not fighting.
Telling the base that things are just wonderful won't work anymore.
If the American people wanted a triangulating Clinton we could have voted for one.
"The Repugs Are Worse" goes only so far.
"Change We Can Belive In" sells better than "it's Not So Bad" and "Maybe We'll Fix It Later".
Obama and the congressional Dems have failed to deliver 'Change We Can Believe In' and instead deliver lobbyist-loving mush of the same poor quality as Medicare Part 'D' which they have repeatedly vowed to fix.
Is Medicare Part 'D' FIXED? No!
Is there a national Public Option/'Medicare for All'? No!
Fix the bill and DARE Ben Nelson to kill it!
The Banksters got a FAST sweetheart deal, the base got a year-long agonizing sellout.
