I accuse the President of having, on his first full in office, signed executive orders with the intention of imposing new rules on government transparency and ethics, freezing the salaries of his senior aides, mandating new limits on lobbyists and requiring greater transparency from the federal government.
I accuse the President, on the second full day of his Presidency of having Ordered the closure of the prison at Guantanamo Bay and the secret CIA black site prisons and of having the use of numerous enhanced interrogation techniques employed by the previous administration.
I further accuse the President on that very same second day of his presidency of having moved precipitously and with malice aforethought to address the Israeli/Palestinian conflict by immediately dispatching one George Mitchell to the region with the express intent of pursuing a two state solution.
There's more.
I accuse the President of, within four weeks of his inauguration, of having shepherded through congress and signed into law a massive stimulus package that included many progressive priorities, including money for education, nutrition, extension of unemployment insurance, mass transit, green energy and more.
I accuse the President of having successfully managed the TARP program and prevented financial collapse in spite of gail force criticism from both left and right.
I accuse the president of having extended health insurance to 4.1 million additional children through expansion of SCHIP.
I accuse the President of having worked his heart out for comprehensive healthcare reform that will extend health insurance to 10's of millions more adults and children.
And I further accuse the President of having brought us right to the brink of the aforesaid comprehensive healthcare reform.
I accuse the President of having helped to ensure equal pay for equal work regardless of gender by having signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.
I further accuse the President of protecting vulnerable women around the world by reversing the Global Gag Rule that prevented the United States from providing any money to any organizations around the world that in any way assisted women in exercising their rights with respect to abortion.
I accuse the President of making sensible and long overdue changes with respect to our travel policy regarding Cuba.
I accuse the President of having struck a blow against hatred and bigotry by signing into law The Matthew Shepard Act.
I accuse the President of making our immigration laws more sensible and humane by lifting the ban on HIV travel.
I further accuse the President of having acted swiftly and humanely to address the humanitarian crisis in Haiti.
I accuse the President of moving agressively to restart nuclear disarmament negotiations, apparently prompted by nothing but his own conscience and concern for the future of humanity.
I further accuseObama of putting his prestige on the line to deal with global warming, despite the notoriously low priority that voters give the issue.
I accuse the President of having stood up to China to enforce fair trade rules.
I accuse the President of respecting states' rights to allow the medical use of marijuana.
I accuse the President of protecting millions of acres of federal lands by reversing Bush policies.
Finally, I accuse the President of having improved our image around the world.
For the foregoing reasons, and many others not herein enummerated, I accuse Barack Obama of being the most awesome President ever!
