Sen. Richard Burr yet again yo-yos on a position. He just can't seem to make up his mind and obviously believes that there isn't much wrong with backtracking.
When the health care reform legislation was passed last week, Burr emphatically proclaimed: "Despite being marketed as a health care reform bill, this legislation amounts to nothing more than a massive expansion of the federal government. It fails to deliver on the promise to lower health care costs, and will instead actually increase costs for many Americans. It also imposes new taxes, fees, and penalties, which will fall on the backs of hard-working Americans who are already struggling in this difficult economy. The American people spoke, but unfortunately, Washington didn’t listen. The only winner in this deal is the federal government."

However, he changed his tune today. Instead of being devoted to running his reelection campaign on the premise of repealing the health care reform bill, Burr now "acknowledges that there are some good things in the health care reform bill." Burr now wants to "see a series of fixes" to the current bill instead of a complete repeal.

North Carolinians deserve better. We need a senator that will stand behind his word and make up his mind before making public decrees. We need a senator that won't yo-yo with your health care, effectively your lives. That person is Cal Cunningham. If you're tired of the run around from Washington and want to see a true patriot in office, someone who will fight for your well-being, and stick to what he proclaims, then please consider donating to Cal's campaign during these final hours of the quarter. You can contribute at http://www.calfornc.com/...
Send the message to Richard Burr that you're no yo-yo!
