Poor guy. D.C. Douglas is the voiceover man in the Geico ads.
He simply called Freedom works with the following questions:
- What is their intelligence level?
- Do you have a plan on how to spin the eventual news of one of your members turning violent and killing someone?
He then left his phone number because he wanted someone to call him back
and defend their Tea Party actions. He has now been relieved of his duties at Geico. Thanks Freedom Works, you idiots.

I never wanted to be political in this blog. It was supposed to be about my life in the biz. But my biz life and personal life were recently slammed together by a political bully group.

The Nutshell:
FreedomWorks encouraged Tea Baggers to get me fired from GEICO because I left a complaint on their voice mail. (Press Release)
In his blog he explains the entire case using colorful language.
It was a long wait for the article to come up but well worth it, here's a sampling:
Unfortunately, the radical majority is provoked to racial paranoia and mob mentality by unethical Washingtonian operatives like Dick Armey and Matt Kibbe. If we do not confront these kinds of groups, we risk letting a hate movement gain a dangerous level of influence in our country.
"...there’s this vast echo chamber, and [these provocative words] go across space and they fall on the serious and the delirious alike. They fall on the connected and the unhinged alike..." - President Bill Clinton (April, 2010)
Personally, I have no tolerance for intolerance... Which is why I invite Matt Kibbe to kiss my pimply ass.
Coming Soon: Dick Armey’s Army of Dicks
It truly doesn't get much better than that.
Hmmmm, maybe I should give Geico a nudge:

Geico's e-mail
Care to join me?
UPDATE:
GrouchoKossak received e-mail back from Geico:
Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXX,
The work GEICO did with D.C. Douglas (aka Lance Baxter) has not aired in over a year.
Mr. Douglas has expressed his own personal views.
GEICO Corporate Communications
UPDATE #2
My first "you're nuts" e-mail
this note if for julie gulden, are you nuts, dc douglas deserved to get fired, he didnt call to ask them for the intelligence level, the way you say it i find it hard to believe you even listened to it, he asked what the percentage of mentally retarded worked for them. do you know how many clients geico could or will lose due to this jerk. and what kind of kicks does he get out of this, he doesnt look like a teenager but certainly acts like one, hooray for geico
UPDATE
I listened to the voice mail and he did ask how many were "mentally retarded." It gives Geico a perfectly reasonable reason to fire him, whether or not that was the cause.

During my impulsive call I:
•inquired as to their intelligence level
•wondered if they had a plan on how to spin the eventual news of one of their members turning violent and killing someone.
•left my phone number because I wanted someone to call me back and defend their Tea Party actions,

FreedomWorks Scares GEICO
[UPDATE: Four things need clarifying. 1) Please DO NOT call GEICO. If you read the blog carefully, you'll see I hold no animosity toward them, only FreedomWorks. 2) Some readers seem to miss the fact that I did apologize for my words. Please read carefully. 3) I was NOT the gecko or the main vo tag announcer. That was a conflation by Matt Kibbe. 4) Comments have been closed because the server can't handle it, man. Please go here to enjoy a debate: HuffingtonPost Article. We now return you to your originally scheduled blog post.]
