Well it's that time again. Time for another exciting election.
This time it's in the UK, so most of us will be on the sidelines.
But I know we probably have dozens, if not hundreds, of Daily Kos members from the UK. So here is your chance to speak out. I am putting this up now (11:59pm EDT), because it's almost 5am in the UK, just about time for polls to open.
Who did you vote for this morning (yes it's already Thursday in the UK)? Tell us what turnout is like and who you think will win.
For those of you in the US, please feel free to comment with your thoughts on the UK elections and your official predictions.
My predictions are below the fold.
While many pundits are projecting a hung Parliament (and I hope they are right), I fear that Conservatives may come very close to taking a majority.
The Tories will probably finish with between 320-330 seats (326 would be a majority). I hope not. Hopefully voters will wake up and support Labour (or the Liberal Democrats where Labour is not competitive). We'll see.
Anyway, your thoughts and comments are appreciated.
And please rec this up so that our UK Kossacks can comment throughout the night (when many will be voting).
