Something very odd just happened.

For a few brief seconds you could by shares of Accenture for a penny! Yes a penny!
27k of volumes worth were trading at the bottom of trough, with some crazy action going in and out.
Something similar happened to Proctor & Gamble.
I'm going out on a limb here and saying there is algorithm out there whose only purpose to shadow other algos and cause "Rich Man’s Panics".
It totally looks like it if you layer the historical date in a truncated form over today's trading. And since all of this if High Frequency Trading, a few seconds is a lifetime of old school book trading, so it looks like there is a new sheriff in town, and he's gun is loaded and elite.
Sure this will end with "fat-fingered trader" or "big board glitch" explanations being handed out.
Me? My money is on a rogue algo out there hunting the rich.
See what happens when we get away from value investing turn the marketplace into a casino?
Yeah, someone figures out how to game the table and we all know the pit bosses are asleep.
Good luck out there!
