We’ve been saying for a long time that this race will come down to Ohio values versus Wall Street values.
Yesterday, in his first speech of the campaign, Ted laid out exactly what those terms mean – and what those values are.
Even though we’re months away from November – literally a forever in campaign land — Ted’s showing right now that Republicans don’t have a monopoly on values.
Video highlights from the speech after the fold.
But it’s not that Congressman Kasich worked on Wall Street, it’s not that Congressman Kasich idolized Wall Street, what concerns me most is that Congressman Kasich has represented Wall Street his entire political life. He’s Wall Street to the core.
We’re committed to defining our opponent early. We understand how important it is that voters know Congressman John Kasich for who he really is: a former Lehman Brothers executive with Wall Street values (and it doesn’t help he was a Fox News host, too).
Ted believes it’s important to stand up to Republicans that run from their record. We’re helping him do just that in Ohio.
