That is a reasonable question.
Nobody in politics, now, wants to talk about Worst Case problems. Say anything and coastal property would tank in a week.
Then consider what Camille 1969 did to Biloxi.
How could anybody get "ready" for a 20' to 25' poisonous storm surge ?
Anybody got an idea or two ?
(We just had a diary kicked off DKOS that did nothing but say that Obama needs to get involved immediately if a hurricane rips through. Damn, what a piss-poor show of disrespect for logical argument.)
Folks don't believe in major hurricanes ???
Now poison the groundwater as well as knocking every thing down.
How the Hell is Obama supposed to anticipate and then respond to something like this wipe out, plus the addition of oil poison ?
I don't see how anybody could manage such a situation. Seriously. Anybody got ideas, just a clue what would happen if a sheet of this BP oil gets driven ashore ?
Pray for the Everglades..............
