I've been watching Morning Joe since I set my channel to MSNBC and haven't changed it, but I think that's going to have to change.
I watched the other morning as Mika looked down her long nose as always, and told us that Americans are going to have to make sacrifices. I love this coming from her in her stylish expensive clothes (believe me, they're more than most of us can afford), in her cushy little studio, with her well paid job and perks, where she and Joe do nothing more than report on what's going on in newspapers and on the web. Joe and Mika don't even live in the real world and haven't for years. They are not agents of change, they do nothing to influence anything except political opinion which is not good in so many ways, and yet they have the gall to tell the American people we're going to have to sacrifice. My first sacrifice would be giving up satellite TV, which is the only way I can get TV, to the tune of about $80.00 a month. Wonder how Squinty and the Meatpuppet and all their sponsors would like that? In the meantime I'm going to have to keep my car so I can get to work, and my computer which is the only reliable source of information these days provided you know where to look. These people disgust me with their arrogance.
I'm not even going to go into Mika and her food police routine.
MSNBC really needs to take a look at their lineup. I'm done with Morning Joe. A shame, really, because I adore Mike Barnicle and get a kick out of Willy Geist, but Joe and Mika are just not real. Get something or someone else.
For their evening lineup, MSNBC needs to put Dylan Ratigan on at 6:00, Ed Schultz at 7:00, and keep Olbermann and Maddow where they are. Chris Matthews can keep the 5:00 slot where he can holler, talk over guests, discuss things with himself and spew spittle all he wants. The only reason I start watching at 6:00 now is to see Ed. Turn it off at 7:00, back on at 8:00.
And really not acceptable that a dolt like Joe Scarborough could get Markos banned on MSNBC.
Who are the morons who run that network?
