The Republican Party is splitting, splitting badly.
What I witnessed on Fox News last night wasn't Karl Rove trashing O'Donnell but Rove trashing Hannity. You could see it in Hannity's face, almost like a light bulb went off, Hannity finally fiqured out Rove was scolding him. Rove was basically telling Sean that you screwed up the elections for the Republicans! He basically blamed Hannity for not taking back the Senate.
Hannity has been beating the Tea Party drum for months now and especially yesterday on his radio program when he didn't stop pumping O;Donnell. I listen to Rush and Hannity regularly.
Rove like to get electable officials in the door then mold them to his ways. Rove knows you can't run on radical views in hope of radically changing things. In a democracy, running on radical views gets you nowhere. Rove knows you run as a moderate and then change once you get in the door. Almost like a sleeper al-Qaeda cell.
Anyway, It'll be interesting radio going forward to see if Rove's scolding will change Hannity or Rush leading up to the elections.
