Okay, I'm not suggesting that he is. Frankly, I don't care. But with the vote today over DADT, if he was and he came out would it change the debate?
David Petraeus is considered one of the best generals in the U.S. Army today. While I don't always agree with many of his positions, I have a great deal of respect for the man and his accomplishments. He is considered a hero by the right wing because he "won" the Iraqi War.
If he were our best chance to "win" in Afghanistan, would he be booted out of the military if he were gay? If so, wouldn't that be against American military interests? Just a thought that crossed my mind.
