Yesterday I received in the mail my "Love-catcher" Community Quilt from Sara R. It is beautiful, with colorful fabrics in a distinctive ringed pattern Sara tells me is called "Cheyenne."
Unfortunately I don't have a camera--otherwise, I'd post a picture of this gorgeous quilt which I am keeping on my bed.
I especially would like to thank Sara and her sister Ann for the work they put into this quilt. As they have for the numerous quilts they've made others. They are truly angels.
And I'd also like to thank the many Kossacks who wrote their wonderful, thoughtful messages of love, hope and healing. I feel blessed--their kindness means a lot to me. This is the true meaning of "community."
Sorry this diary is so short--I just wanted to share the good news about my quilt and thank Sara and everyone who left messages for it. Love and hugs to all.
Update: What a surprise--this diary's on the Rec List! Thanks to all!
