This is a quick diary, but I think it is necessary. Alvin Greene isn't even campaigning, and there is talk that he's not really campaigning. The choice is clear: Tom Clements.
His homepage contains some really great TV ads, this one. (embed not working, click link)
It really goes after the "less government, less regulation" crowd.
Also, what if Clements gets more votes than Alvin Greene? Already, Clements is up by a point.
If Alvin Greene is such a trainwreck, and we have somebody closer to our ideology, even if he's not a democrat, South Carolinians should be voting for Tom Clements regardless. It would really stir things up. Think about it. The Tea Party isn't actually a party! The Green Party is! This means that the MSM will have to mention the Green Party on November 2nd. Maybe if more people hear about the Green Party, it will be a crack in this two party corporate controlled system.
Also, I can't vote Green because there aren't any in NH, and plus NH has some truly AMAZING Democrats running:
Paul Hodes for Senate
Kuster for congress
Carol Shea-Porter (NH-01, my district)
Furthermore, if you live in Idaho, Utah or anywhere else where it seems like the democrats have no chance of winning, then vote anyways! You never know, Republicans in the really red states could just assume they are gonna win it, and all of the sudden a united movement of democratic votes catches everyone by surprise! I myself have been phone banking vigorously these past few days. I feel the MSM has it all wrong. I'm probably even MORE fired up than '08 because ask yourselves:
Do you want to really give the militias, birchers, birthers, deathers, beckers, teabaggers, wingers, and various other "ers" a platform for their racist, sexist, fascist, teahadist (and other "ists") ideas?
Vote. NO MATTER WHAT.
GOTV!
