You don't need me to tell you how the Koch Brothers, and God knows who else, are secretly pouring millions into our political system to put the Tea Party and the Republicans in charge. And I don't even want to think about what they'll expect in return.
We all get it. If you want to preach to the choir, be my guest and scream about it all you want here on Kos. Want to do more? Use you Facebook page!
If you're like me, you have friends, colleagues and family members among your Facebook friends who might be inclined, for one reason or another, to either vote Republican or stay home on November 2nd.
We can reach these people!
Use Facebook to make your case to your friends and family. Just make sure you make it about them. Don't do any of this bleeding heart liberal stuff or try to appeal to any sense of compassion. They're trying to take care of themselves and their own families. They need to know our jobs are moving overseas and theirs could be next.
Keep it short and to the point. Use you own words! Don't give people homework assignments by posting huffpost links or Countdown videos. If you find a really compelling video or link, you'll need to offer a damn good reason why someone would want to click on it.
The idea that people don't want corporate America buying our elections is beginning to gain traction. We can stop this corporate takeover. This is our moment. This is our time. We have the power.
We have Facebook.
