The United States Naval Academy football team cleaned Notre Dame’s clock yesterday. The final score was 35-17, but as the Washington Post reported this morning (and as anyone who watched the game yesterday knows):
Don't let the 35-17 final score fool you. Navy's victory over Notre Dame before 75,614 at New Meadowlands Stadium on Saturday was much more authoritative than even that lopsided result would indicate.

Yesterday’s win made the Class of 2011 only the third class in USNA history to beat Notre Dame three times. And this followed the longest losing draught in college football history. From the time I was seven until the time I was 49, Navy lost to Notre Dame every year. But they always played hard and held their heads up.
This week, right now, we need to PLAY HARD and hold our heads up. And I’ve got $250 in matching funds available right now to help us do exactly that.
This is what THEY are running on:
Former President George W. Bush signaled on Thursday that he sees not privatizing Social Security as his greatest failure from the eight years he served in the White House, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Republican candidate for U.S. Senate John Raese doesn't just want to abolish the minimum wage. He also calls it possibly unconstitutional.

Sharron Angle thinks that a girl raped by her father should be forced to continue her pregnancy, because "two wrongs don't make a right." Much good can come from a horrific situation like that, Angle added. Lemons can be made into lemonade.

This is not the country we want. Not by a long shot. And it’s not the country the good citizens of the United States deserve. It’s up to us – RIGHT NOW – to make sure this isn’t the country we have come next January.
And the cocky arrogance is beyond breath-taking. Sample this:
Obama-Investigator-in-Chief Darryl Issa (who pledged earlier to double his staff for the sole purpose of “investigating” the Obama Administration) says that impeachment is off the table:
"Not a chance at this point. I don't see it happening," Issa said in an interview with Bloomberg's "Political Capital" that will air over the weekend and was reported by The Hill.
"Look, disagreeing with the president -- the president using his authority, maybe even misusing it -- that's not what impeachment's for," Issa added. "Do we have disagreements? Yes. Do we want to see that the president strictly adheres to process? Yes."

Impeachment? Are you freakin' kidding me? When was THIS "on the table"? Certainly not when our previous President lost three-and-one-half buildings (the WTC and the Pentagon), one city (New Orleans), a budget surplus, the respect of the world, the American economy . . . surely I do not need to elaborate further.
And Darryl Issa is out there saying, as though it was serious, that "impeachment is off the table"?
There are NO EXCUSES for not working RIGHT NOW to GOTV . . . if you do not know where to go, please see here. You can make calls; you can knock on 40 doors (you will be knocking on the doors of DEMOCRATS to get them to the polls!) . . . YOU can do this; WE can do this.
WE MUST DO THIS. It's not hard. And you are not too tired. Our President is exhausted and he's out doing everything he can. Former President Bill Clinton is doing everything he can. Our CANDIDATES are doing everything they can.
Our COUNTRY is at stake. No excuses.
Get your game on and GOTV.
And take my money, please.
