We were treated to a front page article by the Big Orange, full of contempt for people offended by Jack Conway's "aqua buddha" ad. Here's what Kos said, in part:
No one cared, of course, because ads of this sort are a dime a dozen. You might think they're beyond the pale, but they're not....The voters can then decide whether it's relevant or not.
But there's another reason no one cared.... Democrats are never allowed to throw punches. It's mean. And unseemly. And we don't want to become the monsters we fight. We don't want to stoop to their level. You get in with the pigs, you become a pig. And giving Congress to the Republicans is fine, so long as we were civilized in our conduct.
Fuck that.

Well, yeah, the voters can decide. And they are. Jack Conway was making a real run at Rand Paul, and now... well, let Kos' pollster, PPP, tell us:
A new poll from PPP (D) suggests that Conway's strategy hasn't pleased voters. After weeks of putting Paul on the defensive, Conway now finds himself trailing Paul by 13 points....
Further, the poll found that most voters are aware of Conway's infamous "Aqua Buddha" ad (62% of those surveyed said they knew of it) and more than half -- 56% -- said it was "inappropriate." Just 15% said it was "appropriate."
Kos, you didn't hesitate to throw the f-bomb at Democrats who believe that civility matters. Why not have the courage and integrity to write the story about how wrong you were?
Kos?
