Can we get an admission that frequent vituperative commentary and "in your face" confrontational statements don't engage an electorate? How about an acknowledgment that the Blue Dogs, irritating though they may be, are the best you can hope for in a whole lot of districts?
For that matter, perhaps somebody can express to me how the most vocal progressives had trouble yesterday.
Could it be that progressives are too eager for a top down solution instead of doing the hard work of selling their ideas to the public as positive solutions? At what point do we stop yelling about the messaging methods of candidates, and start asking ourselves how well we've been doing in selling progressive ideals to members of our families, our friends and our neighbors? Or how there are legitimate concerns and obstacles inherently extant in the implementation of progressive policies?
