I happened to just join a facebook group that I can completely get behind. It’s idea is that Ex-President George W. Bush’s new book Decision Points outlines and admits to a crime and that citizens as a form of non –violent protest should move copies from where they are displayed to the crime section.
Join this group if you are down with this idea
It’s not enough that the lowest point in our Ex-President’s career was Kanye West dissing him, and for that I forgive Kanye for what he did at that awards show. The Ex-President has through his memoirs decided to remind America of what the current President tried so hard to put in the past. George W. Bush is now an admitted war criminal.
As a form of non-violent protest I can think of no better gesture American society could show the President for his bravery than to place his memoirs where it belongs.
From the organizer of the group.
Be part of a literary movement. Literally.
They did this to Tony Blair's book and I think we should do the same here.
Subversively move George W. Bush's memoir "Decision Points" to the crime section in book shops
It is going to be released
NOVEMBER 9th!
Make bookshops think twice about where they categorize our generation's greatest war criminals.
NON VIOLENT DIRECT ACTION
Please invite your friends to do it too!
Even humorous protests make a difference!
Please post a pic of your hard work at the bookstore when you are done, if you can. That will make it very official!
-->THIS IS A NON-VIOLENT PROTEST GROUP
It’s hard to anticipate prosperity with evil in our wake. At some point we will have to declare when enough is enough, and sorry Mr. current President this can not be a page already turned.
