I don't understand the uproar over the tax cuts. Evey last one of us knows that we will be paying for the last decade, tax cuts for the wealthy, because we didn't pay for them at the time. (Not to mention a few wars etc.) Its time to let them expire. The vast majority of the population will barely be affected by them. Its not like the wealthy will miss any of it anyways. This is taking way to much time away from important issues. Politics be damned!
We desperately need to get campaign finance reform rammed through Congress during this lame duck. The midterms were just a taste of whats to come in 2012. I don't care how disappointed the progressives/liberals are now.- What happens when the corporate/wall street/banker interests overwhelm us the next time. There won't be any ammunition to fight with anymore. Net neutrality will be gone, only millionaire/billionaires will have any influence on not only who is elected, but even who will be able to run for office (and by the way, who gets on the Supreme Court.) And all the workers will be wage slaves.
