Sorry for the short diary, but it needs to be said.
Huffington Post
Well-placed sources tell The Huffington Post that the mayor and the host have talked about running together, with Bloomberg in the top spot. In an interview, Scarborough, a former GOP congressman from Florida, issued a firm yet carefully-worded denial. "We haven't discussed it directly," he said, adding, "Have people discussed it in his sphere and in my sphere? I think so."
That doesn't sound like a denial to me. Although not officially announced, MSNBC needs to fire Joe Scarborough. For a network that would suspend Keith Olbermann for making personal policital donations, they cannot and must not provide a morning (noon or night) timeslot for Joe and his frequent guest Bloomberg to campaign.
Contact MSNBC, let them know that if they continue to provide Mr. Scarborough with a podium to promote his political aspirations, then they will be in danger of losing our viewership.
So MSNBC, do the right thing. You are obviously not like Fox, act on it....
UPDATE: Can't thank you folks enough for the rec's
UPDATE: Although the original story didn't include much of a denial, he's denied it on his show. Not unlike any other aspiring candidate before an official announcement, I still think there's smoke.
