We need a GOOD NEWS section of Daily Kos
As we get closer to year end, I have become less and less inclined to read Daily Kos. It isn't that I want to put my head in the sand, or stop believing in the power of truth over lies and intelligent rational reporting over hyperbolic irrationality, it is just that I am tired and worn out from so much bad news and gloom and doom forecasts.
Surely there can be a "good news" section filled with heart warming tales of the many progressive agenda successes with dramatic human interest examples of how some hard fought legislative wins translated into real life results.
I can't be the only Daily Kos reader who needs some cheering up and a few interesting stories to repeat to friends and family that serve to reinforce my liberal views, and that can be used as ammunition when assailed by rabid conservatives parroting their "GlenRush" idol's inane horror stories.
Think how nice it would be to have at our fingertips a compendium of all the good news emanating from the enactment of progressive rules and legislation, especially if it could be done on a State by State basis, as well as Nationally.
I for one, could certainly use some happy and enlightening good news.
