The new majority in the House wants to read the Constitution at the start of this new session. Then when a bill is presented they want the Constitutional passages that will apply noted. They want to make sure that all bills are Constitutional.
Now, having read the Constitution and almost understanding the aspect of the three parts of government I do believe that the Judiciary is responsible for determining whither a bill is Constitutional or not. It seems that the Tea Party should really pay attention to that reading of the Constitution.
Our country has been studying that document since it was written and now we have a group of people that with their basic high school and college education (snark) know it better than the scholars that have been studying it for years.
I wonder if they realize what the other two parts of government do? Since with budget cuts Civics has been cut from a lot of the schools. After all, who has to understand how our government and yes, the Constitution works?
This is my first diary, so please be nice, or at least do not throw many pies.
