Thank you Mr President for such an uplifting and inspiring speech.
Thank you for conveying the sympathies of our nation to the people of Tucson and to the families of those injured or killed.
Thank you Mr. President.
Thank you Mr. President for being a better Christian than I am. Your faith in God is truly very strong and is quite evident in times like these. I have spent the better part of the day fuming over a video released from an individual who also is not as good a Christian as you are too. Hearing your words appealing to our common goodness helped peel away the anger and frustration that I have carried around most of the day.
Thank you Mr. President.
Thank you Mr. President for being a better person than I am. While I am angry, angry to the point of hatred, at the GOP and those who work 24 hours a day, not for the betterment of our nation, but to simply destroy you and what you work for. Your words tonight of unity, caring, compassion, and understanding for those very same people show how much better a person you are than I am. You truly can love your enemies, I somehow cannot.
Thank you Mr. President.
Thank you Mr. President for being the type of leader that our nation can respect, admire, honor, and adore. It has been quite some time since our nation has had a political leader that I hope my young son can emulate in both his personal and professional life. You sir, are that type of leader.
Thank you Mr. President.
Thank you Mr. President for your words of comfort and unity, for the optimism that you possess for our government, and for showing tonight once again why I was honored to vote for you. I often times forget that you do not involve yourself in the petty political horseshit that too often dominates my daily life. Thank you Mr. President for being a better human being than I am. You once again have made this great nation proud.
Thank you Mr. President!
