“Yes we can” was a slogan used during Senator Obama’s 2008 Presidential campaign that inspired and continue to inspire many Americans from all walks of life. It amplifies hope and pragmatism.
The “Yes we can” Pragmatists group is open to those who wish to participate, contribute and learn about President Obama’s agenda, his policy position on the issues, the challenges the Administration faces and its strategy in trying to get things done while highlighting many of the Administration’s accomplishment. The group is intended to empower all of us to be current and up to date on what is happening in the Democratic Party’s leadership political world.
It is encouraged that if you have a policy expertise to interpret complex policy matters to contribute as many material as possible so that things the Administration and the Democratic Congress are trying to do is understood to help shape the message that goes out because we know the MSM is not going to do it for us.
This group welcomes folks who want to push Obama toward being a better president on specific policy issues as they see it fit while supporting him overall. However, if your sentiment is that President Obama is part of the problem and not part of the solution, it is suggested that you don’t participate here. There is no room for rumor based outrages and baseless speculations that divides us. This group is a no drama zone. Foul and disrespectful language towards the President or other group members will not be tolerated and will earn you Hide Ratings.
The “Yes we can” Pragmatists group embraces a pragmatic approach to making progress within the frame work of our political environment and its limitation. If you have enjoyed the success and progress that has been made by President Obama and the Democratic Congress for the last two years and accept to abide by the above simple civil rules, it is encouraged that you join.
