For a moment, Huffington AOL Post appeared only interested in making the Middle East Protesters their Front Page Story, but by Friday Evening, they could no longer avoid a similar protest that had begun brewing in the state of Wisconsin.
Ed Shultz, TPM and Mother Joness, have been on the job from the very beginning, and since then, other Media Outlets have been playing catch up. A movement to save the Middle Class has been spreading so quickly, that some Pundits, Politicians and Media are stumbling to put together their Talking Points, Manufactured Lies and Fake Outrage.
Front Page the Story Don't Give Cover to the Attacks.
Last Friday, Huffington AOL Post, made NO MENTION of Joe Scarborough calling the Wisconsin Protesters "Free Riders and Greedy", they made no mention that he called the Teachers "Selfish and Sick", but Monday, Huffington AOL Post gave Joe his Story but unfortunately, it didn't included the story it should have included, why is that?
Realizing that the Middle East Story was now putting the spot light on America's own Equality Prosperity Disparities; that the Americans in Wisconsin weren't just some fly by night protesting group; the Protesters didn't decrease, they increased.
Realizing by Friday afternoon that protesting had swelled in Wisconsin, by the weekend it grew to around 70,000 and by Monday, it had begun to spread to other states as well. What started in Wisconsin didn’t stay in Wisconsin, and comments demonizing Unions weren’t just going to be swept up under the rug.
Realizing that the more Americans heard about what the Republican Governor was attempting to do to the Middle Class Citizen of Wisconsin, the more support for the Unions grew.
So by Monday, in an attempt to help Scarborough save face, Huffingtosn AOL Post, quickly posted a Scarborough so called “Ripping” Rick Santelli' for comparing the Wisconsin protests to the 9/11 attacks, as if that would wash away the verbal attacks he made on Friday against these very same people.
Lets be real here people, had Olbermann or Anderson Cooper made Scarborough comments, it would be no question that those comments would have been reported in the Huffington AOL Post. I also find it interesting that HAOLP prints almost everything Glenn Beck, Rush, Palin and Beck do or say, but NO MENTION of Scarborough degrading comments. What secret deals have Scarborough made with media outlets like Huffington Post and the previously owned Newsweek, where comments about his Legal Representation of Abortion Assassins and Union Bashing comments get distorted or removed.
Both Scarborough and Santelli’s Stories deserved reporting, it seems had it been anyone else who had called the WI Protesters Greedy or Sick, that story would have been plastered on their Front Web Pages. But when it came to Scarborough’s comments that "Teachers are Selfish and Sick", Protesters are "Greedy Free Riders", Huffington AOL Post seemed to go out there way to not only make cover for Scarborough by refusing to post the story on his berating the Protesters and Teachers, but by also censuring and removing any comments that did.
On a Sidebar Note:
Yesterday you had New Jersey Republican’s Governor "Mr. Lead by My Example" Chris Cristie, essentially supporting Republican Governor Scott Walker’s No Compromise tactics. Cristie bragged how every Republican Governor was following his lead; but by this morning, he seemed to tweak it a bit. I’m thinking, realizing the negative reviews of WI Governor Tactics; the last thing, the Latest Darling of the Republican Party wants, is for it to appear that he is the originator of the UNION Busting. Early Wednesday Morning, he rushed on over to Morning Joe so that he could filibuster a different narrative, where Governor Walker wasn’t so much part of the conversation.
But as I stated, Pundits, Politicians and the Media are stumbling all over themselves because they have no idea how this story is going to play out so it's hard to settle on a Solid Talking Point when you start off at the point of Clueless.
