This is Jayden Andrews:
He is 14 years old. His parents don't know where he is. He has been missing since the earthquake struck five days ago.
The 14-year-old was among hundreds of students let out early last Tuesday at Linwood College, which was having a teacher-only afternoon.
It was his birthday the next day and his family believe he had gone into town to look for his present.
The bell rang at 12.30pm and Jayden was seen getting on to the No 3 bus into the Christchurch CBD.
Less than half an hour later, the earthquake struck.
He has not been seen or heard from since.
The bus that he was on was crushed by falling debris. After seeing the photos of the bus, his family has resigned themselves to the heartbreaking realisation that he won't be coming home alive.
The family wants him home.

Jayden's story is one of hundreds. The death toll is 147 with 200 unaccounted for. The police believe that the final death toll will be just over 200, as many on the unaccounted list will already have been found dead but just have not been identified yet.
Here are some other updates:
Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker says staff have visited 10,000 homes in the city.
Housing New Zealand has cancelled rent for its 250,000 Christchurch tenants.
Housing Minister Phil Heatley says it's easier to just cancel it outright in 32 suburbs, backdated to February 22, than work out who is affected.
The Ministry of Education says schools in Christchurch City must remain closed until further notice.
It says schools in Selwyn and Waimakariri Districts can open from today if boards of trustees decide students and staff will be safe to return.
Information on those schools opening will be posted on its website.
Police are expecting to name two more of the dead this morning, Radio New Zealand reports.
There will be another press briefing later in the morning. Will update as information comes in.

About 2 days after it happened, i saw on live tv a volunteer being interviewed. He said that the quake was from God to make us all believe in Jesus Christ. Foruntaty he was cut off before he could rant on any further. Maybe that man should explain his views to the families of the people lost. I am sure they would welcome his explanation, (sarcasm).
Fortunately that nut is a rare occurrance in NZ. Probably had been watching too many American Evanglists.

Christchurch City Council is offering residents out of work and out of pocket temporary employment.
Because of the number of claims coming in about the damage caused by last week's earthquake, it has had to hire around 120 extra staff.
People can apply for the roles - which include data entry, administration and customer service - on the Adecco website.
