So I just put together a wiki site for my county, Columbia County, New York. The idea is to have a wikipedia for the county. I have things I would like to do -- like have one place for everyone who gets info by FOIL from their towns and county -- to have a place to park the documents. But other people will have other agendas, and I welcome everyone. What do folks think? Has anyone done this for your town or county?

I hope it will help stem the tide of corruption in this dirty county.
For example, there are 17 towns and villages in the county, plus the county government. There are many town board members, many meetings: too many for wikipedia or the local paper. But if you want to get the audio of the January meeting in, say, Stuyvesant, you should know where to go.
Then, our local paper is not so good about taking on the town governments, so I thought I would get in on that act too:

In addition, I have my more targeted anti-corruption blog:

And, of course, I'll be in criminal court tomorrow facing 15 days in jail on a trumped up charge. So please check me out and if I go to jail, get out the FREE DOG signs. I would be a political prisoner in New York... but only for 15 days so don't wait until they lock me up.
Maybe they won't put me in jail. Maybe they will. I don't care. Won't help them.
The truth will out.
