Well, there is no bucket up yet and it is past 12:00 noon CST, so this is your bucket for today. I don't have a handle on the map thing, so I'll pass on that for now.

This is, of course, the catch all for all observations. In NorCal (Castro Valley) there are plentiful flowes but I still haven't noted much in the way of bees. I especially haven't noticed the little native pollinators, the orchard and mason bees. It may be that the blooming stuff is mostly imports like geraniums, and that the natives, like the CA poppy and ceanothus still aren't blooming. I don't know, but would be especially interested in hering about the native bee situation in other parts of CA.
OK, let's here it - what is going on out there?
