Where to begin? Lord only knows that with the cost of gas, legilators leaving the state and campouts at state capitols, not to mention a democratic president praising the likes of Jeb Bush, upholding so many Bush policies and our most vibrant legislators being voted out of office for the Loonie Toons to take over, I feel we truly are starring in Who framed Roger Rabbit. Part Toon Town...Part reality but neither bringing forth any sanity solutions. It seems as though there is a tug of war going
on between Devils and Angels and deciders of which is which depend on which way
your polcitical leanings are. I thought about Capitolism a love store and it took me this long to realize it had a two fold meaning. A love story meaning, We got screwed.
I really
walked away from a home I bought in 2001 and found out from court records it was
sold in 04..Who to? Dunno. The mortgage was selling all the time but the record
didn't indicate how many times and to whom. The house sold to us for 130,000 and now appraised at..highest on the block, 48,000. Wow..good walk we took there. I
walked away and don't regret anything except the love affair they had with me and my husband by stealing the children's inheritence because, it was not their home to steal.
I don't think they know. Doesn't matter really, it is just money afterall and that is becoming less and less a common factor in today's world. I got a place better and in better company in the Sunshine State but still have a goofy gov down here.
At least we are in a dem surrounding area and it is so different. A good different.
So what happens in the next year? Are we going to lose our social security? Will the government shut down? Will the crazies just completely run more amuck than now and how many more people will find that no calvary is coming to save the United States of
Division. I feel like Obama joined them raither than fight them. It is much easier and afterall that club is small. One look at Wisconsin and we can't have none of that can we? No fight over collective barganing and unions to hold corporations accountable.
Oh...what a sad state of affairs this once great and prosperous nation even with all of it's problems of race relations has become. It is not just about race anymore but the fairness of everything. Greed rules and people hide inside the living room watching all about Charlie Sheen's breakdown. I am very content with this state but it is still in the United States of the Divided and when Rome starts burning and it will, I will be a little closer to an ocean getaway than stuck up in the hills with the Deliverance bunch.
God Bless you all and I missed you guys. I had to get puters up and running and internet modems ordered and fighting my husband being hospitalized during the move.
We took a few allergies about a week ago but with all the confusion, in it's worst day could never come close to Ga's best day. By the way, did you hear about my former town's local cops shuttind down the girlscouts? Glad to be gone from there.
New beginnings, new activities, less stress. Looking for all of these things.
I suggest anyone who is contemplating walking away from an underwater mortgage.
Just do it. If you are like me..No regrets.
